The former in particular pretty much has one foot out of the door. The only question that remains is where Nunez will end up. But the fact that he will leave is guaranteed.

Liverpool want to move on. They want to bring in a new type of forward. And there's an exhaustive list of players who that could be.

Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Julian Alvarez is someone the Reds would be willing to sign and break their club record for.

We also exclusively revealed that Liverpool have held preliminary talks with the agent of Hugo Ekitike.

Other options for Liverpool include Alexander Isak, although he will be difficult to get as well as Victor Osimhen, Jonathan David, Liam Delap and Viktor Gyokeres.

But maybe the best option is someone who hasn't really been mentioned yet. We know very well that Richard Hughes has strong ties to Italy.

The Liverpool sporting director grew up in the country, speaks fluent Italian and knows the Serie A well. That's why it's pretty much inevitable that Liverpool could be in the conversation for a forward who is in the form of his life.

That player is Italy and Fiorentina striker, Moise Kean. With 17 goals in the league this season, he's currently second in the top-scorer leaderboard.

He's also helped Fiorentina in Europe, securing qualification to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League. And he's fought his way back to the Italian national team.

Still only 25-years-old, Kean has been pretty much everywhere. He's played for Juventus and Paris Saint Germain. Even had an unsuccessful stint at Everton.

From a young age he has been hyped up to be a massive talent. It's only now that he's fulfilling that potential and having matured and grown as a player, he's clearly now ready to take another step in his career.

A return to the Premier League cannot be ruled out. Especially because he has a €50m release clause according to Fabrizio Romano.

At that price Kean would be a bargain considering his form this season and the fact that he's still relatively young with the potential to improve and become even better.

Mohamed Salah was around the same age as Kean when he made the move from Serie A to Liverpool, after a failed spell at Chelsea.

But Liverpool will have to act quick, Romano's report claims the Reds will have just two weeks to activate the release clause which is valid only between July 1 to July 15 this summer.
