Dean Huijsen makes EMOTIONAL claim as Liverpool agreement nears
At this point Dean Huijsen is pretty much begging to be Liverpool's next big money transfer.
The Dutch-born Spanish international has become one of the brightest young centre-backs in the Premier League since his arrival in England.

At the time, Bournemouth were an interesting choice for Huijsen because Liverpool had also had the youngster on their radar and were ready to make a move for him.
Huijsen though opted to accept the Cherries' offer and agree a sensational transfer from Juventus to the Premier League.
It's a move that has worked out well for Huijsen, who has gone onto establish himself as Spanish international and become part of an exciting young generation led by Lamine Yamal.
Meanwhile, at club level, he is part of a historic season at Bournemouth and still very much on the radar of some of Europe's biggest clubs.

This includes Liverpool, whose interest has remained in Huijsen as they look to bolster the club's defensive options.
Huijsen makes a lot of sense for the Reds because of his ball-playing qualities. Arne Slot demands his players to be able to dictate the play from deep and instigate attacks.
This is something Huijsen thrives in, he averages 11 progressive passes per 90 minutes, which ranks him third among centre-backs in the Premier League this season.
Huijsen also ranks in the top 10 for passes into the final third (8.07 per 90).
To be able to do that at 20-years-old is a massive feat. His ball playing skills combined with his massive height make him pretty much the perfect modern day centre-back.
It seems like he's ready to make the step-up to Liverpool and based on his comments he may already have an eye on the Reds.
Recently he made several comments about Liverpool, and some of them were very emotionally charged.
During a podcast interview with Papa Pincus, Huijsen spoke openly about the emotional challenges that come with playing for Liverpool.
“I don’t think it’s easy to play for Liverpool, it’s not," Huijsen said.
“There’s pressure, there’s the whole world looking at you, there’s Champions League, Premier League.”
“You need to be good, like proper good to hold your own.”
Huijsen was making these claims amid a conversation where he was asked to name the most underrated centre-back that he has seen play.
His choice was Joel Matip, an interesting one from a Liverpool perspective. In the same podcast he also named Mohamed Salah as the best player in the Premier League, although there are no surprises there.
Huijsen clearly knows game, and this was not the only instance of him speaking emotionally about the club.
After he played at Anfield he also opened up about that experience to ViaPlay and how emotionally impacted he was by the Reds' supporters in the crowd.
"I would have preferred a different result," Huijsen said.
"But when we came onto the field and You'll Never Walk Alone was played, that was beautiful. That's what you play football for."
So from Huijsen's side it's pretty much guaranteed he would jump at the chance of joining Liverpool based on his recent comments.
But it's obviously not just up to him, Bournemouth will have to say yes to a move and there has been significant development coming out on that front as well.
According to a recent report, Bournemouth are going to have to make at least two significant sales in order to comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules this summer.
This would absolutely force them to sell Huijsen if the right offer arrives, considering he is one of their most prized assets.
And it's also a development that puts Liverpool's agreement one step closer.

With Richard Hughes still having close relationships at Bournemouth, this is a move he absolutely needs to make happen. Huijsen is perfect for Liverpool.
