While most of Liverpool's squad depth was utilised in the team's EFL Cup quarter-final win over Southampton in midweek, a number of the Reds' big names were given a well-deserved rest.

As such, there has been a wave of changes to the team, as Arne Slot attempts to continue the side's extraordinary run of form.

Here is the confirmed lineup for Liverpool's visit to Tottenham.

GK: Alisson Becker

The Brazilian is back in between the posts after sitting out the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Southampton midweek. His minutes have been managed after his return from injury and Slot will be hoping for another great performance against a Spurs side that can score plenty of goals.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent bagged another assist during the week against Southampton, but was taken off at half-time as Slot tries to manage his minutes during this busy period - especially with other defenders missing. He should be fresh and ready again today.

CB: Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk is the glue that holds this Liverpool defence together, and is a big reason that the Reds have continued their good form despite missing his usual partner Ibou Konate. He is partnered by Joe Gomez, who has found himself used as Slot's ultimate utility man in recent weeks.

LB: Andy Robertson

Robertson missed the game against Southampton due to suspension following his red card last time out in the Premier League against Fulham. He hasn't been in great form but starts today with Tsimikas still not ready to start after his recent injury. Reds fans will be hoping for a more measured performance from the Scot today.

CM: Ryan Gravenberch

Another player who got a much-needed rest against Southampton. Has been one of Slot's standout players this season and will be key in Liverpool's attempts to control the game against a Spurs side that will try to force a bit more chaos into proceedings.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister

Many expected Slot to go with Jones alongside Gravenberch for this game, but the Argentinian gets the nod.

AM: Dominik Szoboszlai

His off-the-ball work and high intensity style suit this game perfectly. Expect Szoboszlai to press Fraser Forster hard after the Spurs goalkeeper's mistake against Man United on Thursday. The spaces Spurs leave when attacking could be ideal for Szoboszlai to exploit.

RW: Mo Salah

He's the first name on the teamsheet. Salah has scored 12 goals and 2 assists in 20 games against Spurs, and could become the first player to reach double figures in both goals and assists before Christmas if he can set one of his teammates up today.

CF: Luis Diaz

Diaz and Cody Gakpo have been sharing the left wing throughout the season, and the Colombian has been given the nod today, but will be starting up front instead of on the left.

LW: Cody Gakpo

The Dutchman has been in fine form this season and has been given another chance in a big game after impressing against Man City earlier this season.

Full Liverpool lineup:

(4-2-1-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Diaz, Gakpo

Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Jones, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Quansah, Nyoni
