Liverpool's top 10 most valuable players in 2025
Here are the most valuable players in the Liverpool squad right now.
Liverpool have one of the best squads in world football right now. The Premier League and UEFA Champions League tables would actually suggest they have the best.

But how does that translate into value? After all, some of the top players in Arne Slot's squad are out of contract in the summer - something that understandably tanks value.
You can't claim someone is worth £100m if they're able to leave for free in the summer, after all.
So Liverpool's list of their most valuable players isn't necessarily what you'd expect right now. Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, for instance, are nowhere to be found.

They're arguably the two most important players in Liverpool's squad and two of the absolute best in the world. However, both are over 30 and can leave for free in the summer. Their valuations reflect that.
So who does make it into Liverpool's top 10? We've used the data from Football Transfers and their 'Estimated Transfer Value' metric to find out.
10. Trent Alexander-Arnold – €49.8M
Trent Alexander-Arnold would likely top this list in another year. He's entering his prime, is arguably the world's best in his position and he's a truly decisive player.
However, Alexander-Arnold is out of contract in the summer. Teams can sign him for free - in fact, they're able to agree a contract right now.
It's honestly quite surprising that even with that massive asterisk, Alexander-Arnold still makes this list.
9. Ibrahima Konaté – €51.8M
Ibrahima Konate is one of the absolute best centre-backs in the world right now. He's proven that again and again this season in a dominant partnership with Virgil van Dijk.
It's felt a bit like a breakout season, in fact. Konate wasn't first-choice under Jurgen Klopp as the German's reign came to a close. Under Slot, however, he's firmly been in the best XI.
But again, this valuation is probably a little low. Konate's contract expires in 2026, dropping his figure by a decent amount.
8. Curtis Jones – €53.5M
A homegrown Liverpool player, Curtis Jones has well and truly established himself as a first-team player now. He's playing regularly and providing some big moments as the Reds mount a charge for the biggest trophies.
And that's reflected here. Jones is still only 24 and shouldn't really peak for another couple of years.
With no expectation that he'll leave Liverpool anytime soon, either, you can expect him to shoot up this list before long.
7. Diogo Jota – €59.1M
There’s a theme here, actually. Diogo Jota is another who should probably have a higher value than this.
Jota has been absolutely brilliant this season - when he's played. Injuries have once again held him back, however, and that naturally prevents his valuation from climbing too high.
A solid run of games, though, could see this value rise by quite some way.
6. Ryan Gravenberch – €60.6M
Talk about a breakout season. Ryan Gravenberch has gone from a near-after-thought to one of the absolute best players at the club in the space of six months.

Liverpool are noticeably worse off when he's not in the team and Gravenberch has developed into an absolutely outstanding midfielder. Honestly, we imagine his valuation by the end of the season will be far higher than this.
Still only 22, just needs a larger body of work under him before he's maybe even topping this list.
5. Cody Gakpo – €61.6M
Another who could be much higher in valuation by the end of the campaign. Cody Gakpo was solid for Liverpool under Klopp but he's exploded under Slot, becoming a deadly forward who provides all kinds of production.
Mo Salah has taken the spotlight a lot this season but Gakpo also bosts an incredible number of goals in Red. A full season of that output and the Dutchman will climb this list.
4. Darwin Núñez – €67.5M
Liverpool would have hoped this valuation was much higher by now. They paid around this upfront to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica, after all.
But the Uruguayan hasn't really kicked on and is largely the same player Liverpool signed. It would make sense, then, that his value is roughly the same.
Nunez is still only 25, though, and there remains potential there that keeps his value high. We'll see how long that lasts.
3. Dominik Szoboszlai – €68.9M
Dominik Szoboszlai has essentially everything you want out of a highly-valued player. He's got a good reputation, plays in an attacking position, captains his national team, is still only 24 and has a long-term contract.
Only consistent form has got in the way of him topping this list. Szoboszlai has all the tools to be a truly world-class player and Liverpool are just waiting for that to click.
As we say, he's still young - things could click in a year or two and then that valuation will skyrocket even further.
2. Alexis Mac Allister – €74.2M
Liverpool's World Cup-winner. Alexis Mac Allister is about as solid as you'll find in the middle of the pitch and right in his prime.
What Mac Allister has over someone like Szoboszlai, though, is back-to-back brilliant seasons. The Argentine has been great under Slot but was even better in his debut campaign.
That consistency raises your value and while several Liverpool players are waiting to find it, Mac Allister already has it.
1. Luis Díaz – €78.5M
Let’s be honest, this is a surprising one. Luis Diaz did head into this season with the largest reputation of Liverpool's non-Salah forwards, though, and that possibly explains how he tops this list.

After all, forwards carry larger values than any other position. Diaz is also still in his prime at 28 and has a contract running until 2027.
His early-season form was outstanding, too, and reflects very brightly in this valuation. We'll see if he's still topping the list by the end of the campaign, given things have slowed down a little for the Colombian.
