Liverpool ready to agree £58m deal to replace Darwin Nunez
Liverpool are looking to replace Darwin Nunez and now have a chance to agree a £58m deal for a player on the club's radar.
The Uruguayan made his moment count against Paris Saint Germain, becoming the Reds' hero with a perfectly timed ball to set-up Harvey Elliott's winner.
Liverpool Transfer News: Nunez replacement FOUND as star likely to LEAVE
However, Nunez's future remains away from the club. Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that Nunez is one of the strikers Liverpool are open to selling this summer.
He was the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia back in January, but the Reds did not want to sell him at the time.
In the summer though, with Richard Hughes drawing up a shortlist of replacements, Liverpool will be in a much better place and will be ready to sell him.

And with that in mind, there is one player who has a £58 agreement to leave his current club, who is definitely one to watch.
Why Liverpool are ready to strike £58m agreement for Benjamin Sesko
According to TBR Football, Benjamin Sesko has appeared on Liverpool's radar as a potential replacement to Nunez.
The tall and athletic Slovenian forward has caught the eye at RB Leipzig this season with his impressive performances.
Sesko has netted 17 times and registered five assists for Leipzig so far in this campaign and he's stood out for his physical prowess and shooting power.
All of that combined would make him an ideal fit for Liverpool.
And it seems like there is a lucrative deal to be made with Sesko already having an agreement to leave Leipzig in place.
Sky Germany has reported that he currently has a £58m release clause that can be activated by potential interested parties (including Liverpool of course) in the summer.
It's a performance related release clause though and it could rise up to £67m depending on how many goals and assists Sesko gets from now until the end of the season.
Nonetheless for now, Liverpool have the chance to agree a deal for just £58m.
That would make Sesko a bargain. Especially when you consider Liverpool rejected £70m for Darwin Nunez in the January window as revealed exclusively by Anfield Watch.
At 21 years old, Sesko has the potential to be an absolute world-class forward. He's athletic abilities make him a really unique prospect.
Back in his youth days he even played basketball until he was 14 years old and considered picking up the sport before opting to choose football.
Because of those motor skills that he picked up playing both sports at a younger age, Sesko has all the tools to become a complete forward.
