Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota will make their comebacks from injury in the 'next days and weeks'.

The trio, along with Stefan Bajcetic, made much-awaited returns to team training this week as they step up their fitness campaigns.

None of the three have featured for Liverpool since February and have missed a key portion of the season as the Reds have battled an ongoing injury crisis while aiming to finish Klopp's final campaign with a treble.

Speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Atalanta, Klopp confirmed that return dates for his stars are now imminent, while he didn't rule out the possibility using any of them, bar Bajcetic, in Thursday night's clash.

"We didn't rush it with the boys," Klopp told reporters. "They did a lot of training by themselves, especially Diogo and Trent.

"They looked very good yesterday [in team training] to be honest.

"Stefan is different, a little bit because he was out for much longer but he is now training with us for longer as well. I think after the long spell he had without playing football, it makes sense that we might give him at the U-21s and then let's see how he deals with that.

"[The others] They are now back in training and now we have to see how we involve them, how we use them.

"That we need them is clear but we need them in the best possible shape and kind of rhythm so it's always a challenge to reintegrate the guys but with the quality they have it should be a bit easier and we will use them in the next days and weeks.

"What it means for tomorrow, I didn't make a decision yet."

Following Thursday's visit of Atalanta, Liverpool take on Crystal Palace at Anfield this Sunday, the next opportunity for the reintegration of the returning players.

The away leg against Atalanta will follow on Thursday 18 April, while the Reds face a minimum of three more games this month after that.
