Liverpool team news: injury and availability updates ahead of LASK & West Ham
The Reds kick off their European campaign in Austria on Thursday.
It's the first time this season Liverpool will play twice in a week. Jurgen Klopp has promised the Europa League will not be a competition set aside for youngsters and fringe players, insisting he can put out strong sides both on Thursday nights and at the weekends.
His commitment to that standpoint may be tested by injuries, fatigue and piling fixtures as the winter months approach.
Here are the latest injury and availability updates as Liverpool gear up to face LASK, with the visit of West Ham to Anfield coming less than 72 hours later.

Trent Alexander-Arnold
Liverpool's vice-captain has yet to return to team training and has not travelled to Austria as he continues to recover from the hamstring injury sustained against Aston Villa prior to the international break.
Alexander-Arnold's chances of facing West Ham at the weekend are currently rated at 50/50.
Ibrahima Konate, who also missed the international break with a hamstring problem, is part of the squad for LASK, having made his comeback in the win over Wolves.
Thiago
The other main absentee from Liverpool's travelling party to Linz is Thiago, who remains out with a hip injury. His return date is unknown.
Thiago's countryman Stefan Bajcetic is in contention to feature, however, having played his first minutes of the 2023/24 season for Spain Under-21s during the international break.
Conor Bradley
Liverpool's backup right-back remains out with a long-term back issue that will keep him sidelined until November at the earliest.
Joe Gomez remains Klopp's sole option on the right of defence in the absence of Alexander-Arnold and Bradley.
Adrian
Liverpool's veteran keeper did not travel to Austria as he was not included in the club's Europa League squad. He is however fully fit.
