Elon Musk linked with Liverpool takeover bid
Elon Musk, or Kekius Maximus as his X handle introduces him, could buy anything in the world.
As the owner of Tesla, X, Space X, the Neuralink Corporation and many more, you wouldn’t think he would want to own any more global companies.

But one newspaper has reported that Musk is set to shock the world by purchasing Liverpool Football Club.
Musk set to buy Liverpool?
The Weekend Sport front cover has plastered the controversial tycoon onto their latest front page stating he is ready to “nab” Liverpool.
The article states he is looking to “spread his influence” around the world and owning a Premier League club is the main way of doing that.
But why Liverpool specifically? Well the truth is Elon’s grandmother Cora Robinson is Scouse.
An off-beat report from The Echo identifies that she was born in Mossley Hill in 1923 before eventually moving to South Africa in 1944.
Errol, Elon's dad, recalls taking the young entrepreneur on holidays to Merseyside in the 1970s. On one family trip, Errol dropped Elon off at a playground in Wirral, where he claims his son disappeared, sparking a police search where he was found watching TV and eating cookies.
Would Musk ever buy the Reds?
Although it all sounds like nonsense, it could actually be somewhat of a possibility.
FSG are eager to expand their palette and purchase an NBA team. They are interested in teaming up with LeBron James who is part of the FSG ownership to complete this and have attempted to buy the Boston Celtics.
Moreover, their baseball team the Red Sox are set to be invested into heavily by John Henry and his team to improve and revive the franchise, with fans in the US stating that the company spends too much time on the Reds.
The club was also partly put on sale not too long ago, with a small stake being sold to New York-based sports investment firm Dynasty Equity. But, a full takeover wasn’t far from the realms of possibility.
Although this a rumour spurned from not the most reputable newspaper in the world, it leads to the re-emergence of stories surrounding the future of FSG at the club.
