Liverpool starting lineup to face Norwich in the FA Cup – predicted

With one domestic cup final now secured, Liverpool look to continue their march towards another this weekend with the visit of Norwich City in the FA Cup fourth round this Sunday.

In truth, the in-form Reds have been granted a kind draw, after knocking out Arsenal in the previous round.

The Canaries – managed by Jurgen Klopp's old buddy David Wagner – sit eighth in the Championship table and have been in mixed form of late, winning just four of their last ten in all competitions.

In three previous matches against his best man, Klopp has won all three.

Still, nothing can be taken for granted in knockout football and Liverpool will be wary of a big canary-coloured banana skin awaiting them at Anfield.

Here's how the Reds could line up to face Norwich this weekend.

Klopp confirmed after the semi-final win over Fulham that Caoimhin Kelleher would keep his place for the final against Chelsea next month, having played every minute of the Carabao Cup to date. However, Alisson is likely to return between the sticks this weekend, having been chosen for the last round of the FA Cup.

While Trent Alexander-Arnold could be back in the squad on Sunday, a bench role is more likely for Liverpool's vice-captain, given the not inconsiderable challenges of Chelsea and Arsenal in the week following.

That could mean Conor Bradley continues his run in the team. The Northern Ireland international has played three games in a row for the Reds and has largely impressed in Alexander-Arnold's absence.

Jarell Quansah, too, could keep his spot after a strong showing against Fulham midweek. The 20-year-old's assured defending (and surprise creative output) gives Klopp options, with Ibrahima Konate's minutes still needing to be carefully managed.

Virgil van Dijk should continue as captain, while this could be a nice opportunity for 21-year-old Owen Beck to get a start, having made his Premier League debut off the bench in the win over Bournemouth.

Keep an eye out for Andy Robertson too. The returning left back was on the bench midweek and could finally make his comeback appearance after three months out.

Alexis Mac Allister remains the only real option to play at the base of midfield, with Wataru Endo still at the Asian Cup and Thiago and Stefan Bajcetic injured.

Curtis Jones, who came off the bench against Fulham, should be fresh to start here, while Harvey Elliott may just keep his starting place on the right-side of the three even if Dominik Szoboszlai is declared fully fit following his hamstring strain.

Expect more youth prospects on the bench once again, with Bobby Clark, Trey Nyoni and James McConnell becoming familiar names in the matchday squad.

Luis Diaz was Man of the Match on Wednesday as Liverpool booked their place at Wembley. Klopp hailed the Colombian's resurgence recently and he should continue on the left wing this weekend.

For the other spots, it's two from three with Mohamed Salah out.

Diogo Jota being left off the starting XI midweek suggests he could start here. The Portuguese is the Reds' second-top scorer this season (after Salah) with 11 goals in all competitions.

Darwin Nuñez could be given the chance to cause more chaos as the other starter, ahead of Cody Gakpo.

Youngsters like Kaide Gordon and even Lewis Koumas could get bench spots.

Predicted starting XI to face Norwich:

(4-3-3): Alisson; Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk, Beck; Elliott, Mac Allister, Jones; Jota, Nuñez, Diaz
