As the summer transfer deadline looms, several players will be looking over their shoulders should they be linked with a move away.

With just hours remaining until the conclusion of business, it appears as though Arne Slot’s Liverpool side will oversee major changes before the end of the evening.

Of these include a handful of youngsters initially adopted by former manager Jürgen Klopp, who departed the role at the end of last season.

Reporting for the Daily Mail, Lewis Steele stated that Hull City are pushing very hard to sign young Scottish winger Ben Doak on loan but face firm competition from fellow Championship club Middlesbrough.

Elsewhere, 19-year-old winger Kaide Gordon is attracting mass interest for a loan from second-tier teams.

The news comes shortly after the announcement of Nat Phillip’s departure from Anfield.

The out-of-favour centre-back, who spent last season on loan at Cardiff City, is said to be returning to the Championship as he joins Derby County on another loan deal.

Whilst the outgoings at Anfield are expected to be significant, Liverpool are likely to keep hold of Tyler Morton.

The Reds recently rejected a bid from Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen for the midfielder, ensuring added depth to Slot’s side.

© IMAGO - It is now likely that Morton, who featured in pre -season, will stay at the club.

Morton impressed in midfield on loan at Hull City last season, registering eight goals and assists in 39 league appearances for the Tigers.

Liverpool are also expected to keep hold of Caoimhin Kelleher despite interest from Nottingham Forest.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side tabled an offer for the Republic of Ireland international yesterday, which was swiftly rejected.

Kelleher and Morton should eventually end up staying at Anfield through this transfer window, but expect an overhaul in the coming hours.
