The latest reports emerging from France claim that Paris Saint-Germain are keen to recruit the Egyptian and have assembled an attractive financial package to lure him to the Parc des Princes.

A weekly wage of €500,000 per week has been prepared for Salah across a three-year deal. If finances are Salah’s primary concern then it looks like PSG can blow the Reds out of the water.

However, Salah is thought to be keen on remaining at Anfield in order to break even more individual records and compete for Premier League and Champions League titles.

Accordingly, Fenway Sports Group are reported to be prepared to pay a €400k per-week pay packet and a two-year deal to Salah. Even if those numbers don’t measure up to PSG, Liverpool have got another secret weapon at their disposal in their efforts to renew Salah.

Mo Salah's TREMENDOUS form under Arne Slot

When Arne Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp as head coach last summer it was expected that the Dutchman would struggle to emulate his predecessor.

But Slot has made a mockery of those pre-season predictions with the Reds sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League and the Champions League standings.

Salah has found a new lease of life under Slot, scoring 20 goals and adding 17 assists across 26 appearances this season. His form has been exceptional having endured a poor end to the season under Klopp last term, leading to widespread calls for a renewal.

And Salah has now revealed how much he LOVES working under Slot, handing the Reds a key advantage over any potential rival suitors.

Asked in an interview with TNT Sports whether he was surprised at the impact Slot has made in his early days at Anfield, Salah couldn’t have been more flattering towards his coach.

Mo Salah endorses Arne Slot

"Am I surprised? Yes," he admitted. "Before I worked with him I didn't expect that but once I started to work with him I was like: ‘Okay I'm not surprised anymore!’

“Because I see how he's into details and how he focuses on the small things and he doesn't he doesn't have that ego.

"Like: ‘Okay I did a mistake here, now I I try to sort it’.

"Because it's happened many times. It happens sometimes during the game, sometimes at half-time, sometimes at the end of the game he doesn't have that ego.

"Like: ‘I did mistake’ or something, 'things are not working well, okay I change it and that's it’. So that's why he's not surprised me anymore."

The 32-year-old was further pressed on whether the tactician is a good explainer when it comes to making decisions and revealed that his communication techniques are tailor-made for players.

"Yes,” Salah said. “He likes confrontation which is good somehow. Not always but it's good. He tells you things in your face straight away. "I think it's it's very important for the players to know what a manager wants and he he really explains it really well. He's black or white so take it or leave it."

While PSG boss Luis Enrique is known to be keen on Salah, he has famously fallen out with star forward Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele.

Salah is comfortable working under Slot and Liverpool need to press home that advantage in contract talks.
