Liverpool scouts SPOTTED at six-goal THRILLER last weekend watching 'amazing' defender
Liverpool's scouts were busy at the weekend as they attended a six-goal thriller where they saw an 'amazing' player catch the eye.
Liverpool are still the only club in the Premier League who are yet to make a signing this summer with fans anxiously awaiting news of potential arrivals.
Currently, the club are in negotiations with Valencia over a potential deal for Giorgi Mamardashvili but there is little else to report on after the Reds missed out on the signing of Martin Zubimendi who opted to stay at Real Sociedad.
That doesn't mean that behind the scenes Liverpool are sitting idle. There are plenty of things going on to make sure this summer transfer window does not go to waste.

Liverpool scouts SPOTTED at Feyenoord
Interestingly, Liverpool's scouts were in action at the weekend to watch Arne Slot's former side Feyenoord take on PEC Zwolle in a thrilling encounter.
This is according to HITC, who reports that both Liverpool and Manchester City scouts watched the game, which ended in a 5-1 victory for Feyenoord.
The report does not elaborate on who Liverpool's scouts were watching but the Reds have been linked with several players who worked under Slot last season, including Lutsharel Geertruida. The 24-year-old was described as “amazing” by Mike Verweij on De Telegraaf’s Kick Off podcast caught the eye with a solid performance.
But he was not the only one. Anfield Watch understands that Liverpool have been interested in David Hancko in the past and he too shone for Feyenoord in this game, scoring one of the five goals.
Meanwhile, Calvin Stengs also caught the eye, scoring once and registering two assists in the game in what was a really impressive performance by Feyenoord.
It remains to be seen whether anyone truly caught Liverpool's eye but it's interesting that the club's scouts purportedly watched Slot's former side in action. Perhaps there may just be a last-gasp flurry from Liverpool in the market yet.
