All-time Brazil great admits Liverpool are his favourite English club
Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has revealed Liverpool as his favourite English team to watch.
The 44-year-old retired from football in 2018 after having fans across the globe in awe of what he could do with a ball.
The former playmaker cemented his legacy as one of the greatest of all time by winning the coveted Ballon d'Or, further demonstrating his status as a legendary player.
Ronaldinho has been known to be a fan of English football and in a recently-resurfaced interview with JOE in 2022, he revealed Liverpool was the English club that caught his eye the most.

"It’s hard [to choose just one team], there are many. I really like a lot of players from many clubs.
"It is hard to choose just one. I think each club has a great player that I like watching, but I think the attacking players for Liverpool are the players that I currently really like watching," Ronaldinho said.
The Brazilian only faced the Anfield side twice in his illustrious career. Both matches came during the 2007 Champions League round of 16 where Rafa Benitez's Liverpool eliminated the then-reigning champions on the away goals rule.
Liverpool continue to catch the eye
It may have been 2022 when Ronaldinho disclosed his admiration for Liverpool but fans will be intrigued whether he remains impressed at the beginning of the Arne Slot era.
The Dutchman has overseen his side win their opening three Premier League matches, including a 3-0 demolition over rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford two weekends ago.
Slot became the first Liverpool manager to win his first game at Old Trafford and the first Reds boss since Bob Paisley to defeat United in their opening encounter.
Liverpool are now looking ahead to welcoming Nottingham Forest to Anfield on Saturday afternoon following the completion of the current international break.
