Don't believe the LIES about Liverpool's Premier League title win
During the first half of the season it appeared that Arne Slot’s Liverpool were breaking records by the matchweek.
The Reds quickly established a lead at the top of the table, one which has ultimately proven to be unassailable.

Slot’s men went top since matchday six and only relinquished their place for a single matchday thereafter. It’s now only a formality that the Premier League title will be wrapped up with four games to spare.

That is an incredible achievement for Slot in his first season in charge; the victory has been conducted using a squad built by another coach in Jurgen Klopp and he’s had to deal with significant injury disruption along the way.
Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate and more have all missed decent chunks of the season with various knocks. But Liverpool’s consistency hasn’t wavered.
Stats PROVE Liverpool haven't fallen away
That despite a perception across social media that the Reds have fallen off during the second half of the season.
Granted the week they were eliminated from the Champions League and beaten in the EFL Cup Final stung but don’t let those disappointments distract you from the fact that Liverpool have easily been the league’s best team all season long.
Sky Sports News flashed up a graphic the other day emphasising the point. It was a thumb in the eye for the naysayers, revealing definitively that Liverpool have maintained their incredible levels from one half of the season to the next.
Don't believe the lies
39 points were taken from their first 16 league games. 40 from the next 17. 37 goals scored in those first 16. 40 in the next 17. 16 goals conceded in the first 16 games.
It’s 15 in the next 17. Their expected goals total for those first 16 matches was 36.9. Again, it’s barely budged when measuring the next 17 at 36.4.
By those metrics, Liverpool are not a team who shone only in the first half of the season. They have done it every week, all season long, when Arsenal, Manchester City and the rest have come and gone.

Consistency is key. The team’s ability to earn results everywhere and anywhere has stood up to the harshest scrutiny. This is a well-earned title and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.
