Christopher Nkunku on Liverpool transfer wishlist

The Athletic has recently looked at potential new attacking signings that could arrive at Liverpool in the coming seasons as they bid to refresh their squad over the next few years.

Liverpool have got a top attack at the moment but there is going to be a time where it starts to break up and new faces need to start coming into the line-up.

Indeed, it's going to be some task replacing the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino but that is what will need to be done eventually, and The Athletic have suggested that Christopher Nkunku could be among those that fit Liverpool's profile for new players.

Nkunku is a player that has a lot of top clubs watching him but could the Red Bull Leipzig link help Liverpool in the hunt?

The Reds have dealt with both Leipzig and Salzburg in the recent past to sign the likes of Naby Keita, Takumi Minamino and Ibrahima Konate.

Could another arrival from the Red Bull group happen, then? Nkunku would certainly be a good signing if he did ever come in.
