£19m Liverpool transfer target DUNKS on Reds first-team star
Liverpool are flying this season but the winds of change are expected to gust heavily when the summer rolls around.
The players have nearly played a full season under Arne Slot and it is clear that the squad needs fresh personnel if it is to continue bringing success to the club in the future.

Mohamed Salah will leave in June upon the expiration of his contract, Luis Diaz has fallen into the shadow of Cody Gakpo this season and both Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota have run out of rope, after failing to meet the standards Liverpool expect of them.

As such, the attack is going to be one of the key focuses when the transfer window opens.
In addition, Dominik Szoboszlai - the club's only real No. 10 - is in need of assistance, as it has become clear that Slot does not rate Harvey Elliott enough to give him regular minutes.
Although the Englishman has constantly reiterated his commitment to the Reds, the club's senior officials will have been keeping tabs on him during this international break and last night, he was outshone by a player who Liverpool are linked with.
Rayan Cherki in, Harvey Elliott out?
While most fans will be aware of the senior mens international fixtures, the under-18s and under-21s are also involved in competitive action when club football is momentarily paused.
And last night, England's U21s were put to battle against France's U21s and a true classic unfolded.
Elliott got on the scoresheet for England, but the Young Lions' efforts were not enough against the hosts who won 5-3 after an enthralling contest.
After looking to be in pretty bad shape following the EFL Cup final loss to Newcastle last week, it is of course positive news that Elliott has been able to recover well.
His display on the left-hand side for England might give Liverpool food for thought moving forward, although Slot is likely to play him off the right or in attacking midfield when he sees fit.
Meanwhile, it was Liverpool target Rayan Cherki in the No.10 role for France who really impressed on the night, scoring once and assisting twice, dictating the play for the forwards.
The Frenchman's club Lyon are expected to be in financial trouble when the season comes to an end, potentially putting themselves in a situation where they are relegated as a result - allowing Liverpool to pounce and make a move on Cherki.
Across the season so far, he has eight goals and 18 assists to his name in 34 games.

While Liverpool fans will want the club to keep hold of Elliott, given he is only 21 years old, with loads of development still to do, but if Cherki becomes available for a reduced fee, then we could see a new wonderkid on Merseyside.
