Arne Slot, much like his predecessor Jurgen Klopp, is relatively liberal and forthcoming in giving young players from the academy opportunities, but there are many occasions where it simply isn't possible.

In the case of young 22-year-old, Jakub Ojrzyński, that is exactly the difficulty he is having to deal with right now, after shining for the under-21s but finding it really tough to manufacture a pathway at Liverpool.

As such, he has decided to make a big career decision with a few months left of the season.

Liverpool shot-stopper leaves club immediately

According to SportWitness, Ojrzyński has moved on loan to Swedish side Utsiktens BK for the remainder of the season.

The goalkeeper has been playing for the club's academy teams this season so it is hoped that this latest opportunity could prove to be a big break for him.

After joining the Reds in 2018 from Legia Warszawa, the Polish player has been sent all across Europe in search of minutes to fast track his development, although he has been able to an impact within Liverpool' senior squad.

Of course, this is a far from straightforward task, given the sheer number of players he is battling with.

Alisson Becker is the club's No.1 with Coaimhin Kelleher sitting firmly behind him as second choice.

Earlier this season, we saw Vítêszlav Jaroš be given his first senior minutes for the Reds after Kelleher was absent with illness and Alisson had to be taken off with injury.

But sadly for Ojrzyński, who is likely to be at least the club's fourth choice, a future on Merseyside is looking unlikely, especially after the announcement that Giorgi Mamardashvili would be joining in the summer.

Jaroš is set to leave the club at the end of the season following the expiration of his contract, so there might be a glimmer of hope for the Pole to get a look in during preseason and it is hoped that this short-term loan move might help him get there.
