Liverpool player ratings vs Wolves: Mac Allister STARS in Klopp's last game

Anfield Watch gives you the player ratings from Jurgen Klopp's last-ever Liverpool game, a win against Wolves in front of a packed Anfield. 

Alisson Becker: 8 

Had to be alert to make a couple of smart saves, including one brilliant effort from reported Reds transfer target Pedro Neto in the second half and another before the break from Hwang Hee-chan. Was solid with his distribution too.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 7

Had a much easier afternoon than he might have expected after Wolves were reduced to 10 men, cantering forward into space and even managing the odd shot at goal. Barely touched the ball in his own half.

Andrew Robertson: 8

Very much involved in the best of Liverpool's attacking play, raining down crosses and key passes from the left wing. Also hurt in a pretty nasty collison before half time.

Virgil van Dijk: 7

The captain only had to make the odd defensive contribution, adding a few interceptions to his record, and played much more like a defensive midfielder instead. Had loads of the ball and even took a few strikes at goal with one shot ending up in the Kop.

Jarell Quansah: 8

The homegrown defender becomes the LAST MAN to score a goal under Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool and what an honour that will be. Had another effort cleared off the line and was involved in the opener. Did well from a defensive aspect too.

Wataru Endo: 6 

Kept things ticking over in the midfield but in truth it was another iffy outing from the Japan international and more evidence that Liverpool need an upgrade. Was ghosted past on several occasions, lost around half his duels and was inevitably booked into the equation.

Alexis Mac Allister: 9

Another imperious outing from the Argentine, who this week was worryingly linked with a move to Real Madrid. Can count himself fortunate not to have been hurt when Nelson Semedo was sent off. Scored but that's not all he did. Involved plenty, offering key passes and winning his midfield battles. A player to build a team around.

Harvey Elliott: 8 

Undoubtedly the bright spot at the tail end of Liverpool's season and of Klopp's reign. He will be nailed on for a regular starting berth if he continues like this. Had an assist and a few shots at goal but looks so silky smooth in possession and always an attacking danger.

Mohamed Salah: 6 

Lost the ball too often on his dribbles, and again failed to score. Quansah turned in his scuffed effort to make it two for the Reds. Hard conversations ahead.

Cody Gakpo: 7 

Another extremely watchable performance from the man who could be becoming Liverpool's budding No.9. Flicked on the corner leading to the second goal and put one chance on a plate for Luis Diaz going around the goalkeeper.

Luis Diaz: 7 

Always tries to be productive with the ball at his feet but just as likely to lose the ball as go past his man. Missed what could be termed a sitter and those accusations of being ineffective in front of goal won't go away on showings like this.

Ryan Gravenberch: 7

Got stuck in well when he came on, completing 90 percent of his passes and making a couple of tackles.

Conor Bradley: 6

Nice cameo for the young Northern Ireland international who is on the comeback trail after injury. This was just a run out really.

Darwin Nunez: 6

Only had about 10 touches and managed to lose the ball four times. Unusually subdued.

Curtis Jones: 6 

Played around 10 minutes and was involved during that time, completing all his passes.

Dominik Szoboszlai: 7

A player with a point to prove having lost his starting slot in recent weeks and did well, making chances and taking shots during his short time on the pitch.
