Liverpool one step CLOSER to agreeing opportunistic transfer for €40m midfielder
It's going to be a proper roller coaster ride of a summer.
Liverpool are going to be making changes. Richard Hughes spent the last year looking at his options and now this time around he's ready to make moves.

Among his priorities will be to add a new striker, centre-back and left-back to the Liverpool squad. But there's another area where Liverpool need to strengthen that isn't being talked about enough.
The reality is that Liverpool are still short in the no.10 position. Dominik Szoboszlai is an excellent option for that role and he's become a key cog in Arne Slot's system.
However, he alone cannot be the only man for the role - otherwise he is going to become exhausted and drained after a season.
Liverpool need alternative solutions. Players who can come in and do a similar role - players who Slot actually trusts, unlike Harvey Elliott.

Well one of those players has just ended up on the market after Trent Alexander-Arnold's winner against Leicester City.
Alexander-Arnold's goal confirmed Leicester's inevitable relegation but it may have also saved Liverpool millions.
Anfield Watch exclusively revealed that Liverpool scouts have been tracking Bilal El Khannouss for a long time. He is a player who has also regularly been monitored during Leicester City's campaign this season.
Liverpool scouts clearly like the young midfielder and it seems like El Khannouss could now be available for a cut-price. According to Belgian journalist, Sacha Tavolieri, the Moroccan international will be on the move this summer and has a 'reasonable' release clause.
Football Transfers values El Khannous at €40m so one would assume he would be available for less than that given Leicester's relegation.
The 20-year-old has only made four goal contributions in the Premier League for Leicester but overall he registered seven in 32 appearances, which is not bad for a struggling side.
El Khannouss showed he is a player full of flair and creativity but he can also put in a defensive shift with strong pressing numbers.
His off the ball work-rate combined with his technical elegance makes him an ideal fit for Arne Slot's side.
He has a bit more speed and directness that Elliott lacks while also possessing similar creative qualities which make him the best combination of the England U21 star and Szoboszlai.
It's going to be interesting to see how Hughes approaches the summer. Signing a no.10 may not be very high up on his priority list.
However, if Liverpool get an offer they can't refuse for Elliott and El Khannouss is still available, this is a transfer that could definitely be on the cards.
As we have revealed Liverpool really like the Moroccan star, and that's why they have followed him for a long time.
