Liverpool one of three FAVOURITES to land Lamine Yamal
Liverpool are reportedly one of two favourites to land Lamine Yamal if he leaves Barcelona.
Lamine Yamal to Liverpool? It's apparently not beyond the realm of possibility.

Mundo Deportivo has covered a potential exit for the wonderkid based on a claim that Real Madrid would love to sign him. They've apparently asked Jorge Mendes about a potential transfer.
Though, Mendes has made it clear that the door is absolutely shut on that one. Yamal would never leave Barcelona to join Real Madrid.
So they can keep on dreaming.
What's particularly interesting, however, is the fact that Yamal does have some consideration towards a Barcelona exit. For if he were to leave the club 'one day', it would be for a side outside of Spain.
It has three clubs, in particular, watching the situation closely.

Paris Saint-Germain are, unsurprisingly, one of those. They signed both Neymar and Lionel Messi from Barcelona and see them as a weird, if unsuccessful, pipeline.
Then there are two Premier League clubs: Manchester City and Liverpool. Both have apparently 'tightened' their pursuit in recent times.
There's a long way to go here and no expectation that Yamal will leave Barcelona anytime soon. If and when he does choose to depart, though, Liverpool are one of the three favourites to land him.
Lamine Yamal to Liverpool
it's not a shock that Liverpool would keep their ears to the ground here. Yamal is pretty much the only player in world football who could 'replace' Mo Salah.
The Egyptian will not be the Reds' star player within the next few years. That could come as soon as this summer, of course.

Yamal is the one replacement who could leave fans somewhat understanding. We're not sure Bukayo Saka, the other elite right-winger, would be enough.
But Yamal is the biggest teenage talent in world football right now and a player who could go on to become a true legend of the game. Somehow getting him to Anfield would be magic.

Though, Liverpool have literally never pulled off a transfer like that before, so no one should hold their breath. Just take solace in knowing that if it could happen, the club will do what they can to force it through.
