Sky Sports slammed for HORRIBLE Slot & Ten Hag Oasis comparison

Sky Sports have been slammed after they posted "the worst tweet in history" in the build up to Liverpool's clash against Manchester United.

The clash will be Arne Slot's first visit to Old Trafford as Liverpool head coach and is one of the most anticipated fixtures every year for both sets of fans.

Popular Manchester band Oasis recently announced they would be reforming for a tour of the UK, playing dates in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh and, despite the band's two main members Liam and Noel Gallagher being Manchester City fans, Sky Sports have tried to capitalise on the Oasis hype.

Oasis' initial post received over 12 million views on X, formerly Twitter, and the reaction was mostly positive but Sky Sports cannot say the same for their botched attempt to piggy back on the Oasis comeback.

This promo post from Sky Sports has left many fans scratching their heads and there are already a huge number of replies calling for the post to be deleted.

Although Sky Sport's tweet doesn't appear to have entertained the masses, Liverpool's clash against their long time rivals today at Old Trafford will hopefully be a blockbuster.

Slot comes into the game with a perfect record in the Premier League and his Liverpool side were impressive last time out, but his record against Erik ten Hag isn't 100% and the new Liverpool boss will have something to prove today.
