Darwin Nunez has just fired back against his haters.

Despite finding life as Liverpool's striker particularly difficult, the Uruguayan has finally been able to break his drought in front of goal.

After missing a few chances early on, Nunez just put his head down and continued his work, while he was barraged by abuse from Southampton fans.

The chant in question was "just a sh*t Andy Carroll' in relation to his disappointing efforts in getting a shot on target and his haircut which is similar to that of the former Red. But Nunez quickly managed to silence his doubters.

Following a 13-year hiatus, Adidas have agreed a lucrative deal to become Liverpool’s kit supplier for a third time. 

The German manufacturers are seemingly looking to bolster their portfolio after luring Trent Alexander-Arnold away from Under Armour last November.

Liverpool are currently supplied by Nike, whose five-year stint will end next summer.

The club's 2025/26 kit launch remains months away but leaks circulating on social media have given fans a taste of what they can expect.

There's a lot of talk about Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract extension at Liverpool.

Within just two weeks, the right-back will be free to negotiate a deal with Real Madrid to leave the Reds at the end of the season.

It would be a shock move considering the 26-year-old has been at the club since he was nine years old and has been a loyal servant for the Reds.

There's still optimism that Liverpool will be able to convince him to renew his current deal but time is running out for the club and soon it could be completely out of Richard Hughes' hands.

In the meantime, though, Alexander-Arnold is enjoying his football at the club and his downtime as well.
