Diogo Jota reveals his greatest Football Manager achievement
Liverpool star Diogo Jota has shared his greatest achievement on Football Manager, and it has to be said, it is pretty impressive.
On X, Football Manager asked some professional footballers for their greatest achievements on the game and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota replied with one of the most impressive saves.
The Portuguese maestro managed to take AFC Telford United from level seven on the football pyramid to win the Champions League.
The club was formed by supporters in 2004 after its predecessor, Telford United FC, folded after 132 years due to finical difficulties.

Jota’s greatest achievement
AFC Telford United may play at the 6,300 capacity New Bucks Head but they are currently about as far away from Champions League football as it gets.
Jota is known for his keen interest in EA Sports' football games (formerly FIFA now EAFC) which allow you to control your players on the pitch, but it appears the 27-year-old also likes to take control of things off the pitch too.
Football Manager doesn’t allow you to control the players directly but is a much more realistic interpretation of what it’s like to manage a football team.
His greatest player?
Football Manager also asked Jota which players had stood out the most in his monster Telford save and Jota revealed that he himself had been the best player in Telford’s meteoric rise.
Although its doubtful Jota will ever grace the pitch at New Bucks Head, the fact that the FA Cup winner was able to dedicate enough time to bring The Bucks all the way to the top of European football is an impressive feat.
It would certainly take an incredible football manager to take any team from non-league football to European glory so maybe this is the first indication that Jota could have an esteemed career as a football manager ahead of him when he hangs up his boots.
The Liverpool man will be hoping to lift his real life team to Champions League glory this season too as the Reds return to the Champions League after a year away.
