Liverpool superstar Mo Salah makes EMOTIONAL Saudi exit admission
Liverpool have enjoyed a lot of success over the past decade, being transformed from perennial underachievers to trophy winners under Jurgen Klopp.
Now Klopp has moved on to new pastures and Arne Slot is carrying on his work at Anfield, maintaining Liverpool’s status as title challengers.
The faces are mostly the same as in Klopp’s last season, with a few exceptions, but it is the departure of a Liverpool star in 2023 that has now got a current Liverpool star thinking about the future.
Mohamed Salah is widely regarded as the best player at the club, and he has now given some insight into his outlook towards daily life at Liverpool.

Salah is still thinking about Firmino’s exit
In the newest episode of ‘The Reds Roundtable’, a show produced for the club’s website, Mohamed Salah has shared how Roberto Firmino’s Liverpool exit has led him to change his outlook on day-to-day life at the AXA training centre.
Salah, who appeared on the show with Alisson Becker and Andy Robertson, said: “The thing I appreciate the most is every morning when I see the guys. We’ve shared unbelievable moments, especially us three plus Virg [Van Dijk] and Trent [Alexander-Arnold], the senior group.
“Because when Bobby left, for example, you realise that everybody will leave one day. So I don’t take that for granted.
“When I go there, I always try to have a laugh with them and just spend good time together. In my head, I’ll always remember the good thing we had together - or even the bad stuff. Well, not bad stuff, but the fails, in the Champions League for example.
“It’s a bad memory for us but it’s still something. It’s not easy to make the Champions League final - the whole journey was good.”
Salah’s potential Liverpool exit
These comments may worry some Liverpool supporters who think they could hint at a potentially impending exit for Salah.
The Egyptian King has less than a year left remaining on his contract and although talks have begun over an extension, the club and the player are still reportedly far away from an agreement.
Salah learning to take in every day at training and make the most of his time because ‘everybody will leave one day’ doesn’t necessarily mean that ‘one day’ is soon for Salah.
The point is more that you never know who could leave when, and so not taking things for granted allows you to make the most of the time you have with your teammates.
Regardless of whether this is a subtle hint at the forward’s own future, his approach to training seems to be working as he is firing on all cylinders on the pitch, and Liverpool supporters will be hoping that continues for the rest of the season.
