Mo Salah's love for Liverpool SHINES in viral video rant
For many the arrival of Arne Slot at Anfield was supposed to mark the start of a period of transition where Liverpool did not compete for trophies, but this hasn’t been the case.
The Reds look ready to compete on all fronts under their new head coach and Liverpool already sit top of both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
It is only early in the season but already Liverpool look like a team with all the components they need to win trophies, and as Slot spends more time with his players on the training pitch things will surely continue to improve.

Liverpool also have a Carabao Cup quarterfinal tie against Southampton approaching, and the competition represents Slot’s first opportunity to get his hands on silverware as the Reds’ head coach.
Now, a new video posted by the club has revealed just how dedicated to winning one of Liverpool's best players, Mohamed Salah, is – and just how high his ambitions are for the season.
Salah wants to ‘win it all’ this season
Speaking on the newest episode of The Reds Roundtable, an online show produced for the club’s website, Mohamed Salah was asked about his ambitions for this season.
“[My ambitions for this season are to] win it all, in my opinion. I work so hard every day and I hate the idea that we’re ‘underdogs’. No, we have an incredible group.
“In each position you’re going to find players that are, really, top three in the world, so why don’t we win it [all]?
“This city and this club has to always fight for everything”.
This fighting talk from one of the most influential players, both on and off the pitch, at the club will be music to the eras of Liverpool supports, who will be pleased to hear just how hungry one of the best players at the club is to win trophies.
Could Liverpool win it all this season?
Although it would be unheard of for a manager to win both the Premier League and the Champions League in their very first season in charge of an English club, it is certainly possible.
Over a quarter of the Premier League season has now been played and it is hard to argue that Liverpool have been anything other than the best side in the competition.
We are now also halfway through the new league stage of the Champions League, and Liverpool are two points clear at the top of the table and are the only team remaining in the competition to have won all of their games.
What makes this even more impressive is the Reds recent 4-0 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen, who won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal last season without losing a game.
It certainly isn’t out of the realms of possibility that Slot leads Liverpool to a historic league and Champions League double in his first season in charge of the club, but the upcoming match against Real Madrid, followed four days later by a visit in the league by Manchester City will give Liverpool supporters a better idea of how realistic that dream is.
No matter how the season ends, Slot’s record-breaking start to the season has been incredibly impressive and shows that there is a lot of potential for growth in Liverpool’s future.
