‘His life is simple’: Mo Salah sounds OFF on Erling Haaland
Make no mistake about it, Mohamed Salah is almost single-handedly carrying Liverpool to the Premier League title this season.
Plenty of players are having impressive campaigns, but nothing will compare to what the Egyptian King is currently pulling off.
Liverpool Transfer Latest: Trent Alexander-Arnold successor FOUND as star enters talks
With 24 goals and 15 assists to his name in the Premier League alone, he is on track to deliver the best individual stats for a player in the 38-game a season Premier League era, and he's doing so at the age of 32.

In addition, he is performing such miracles while many of his teammates are struggling to make an impact in front of goal, despite the constant conveyor belt of chances headed their way.
As such, Salah is not shy of talking himself up and ahead of Liverpool's visit to the Etihad on Sunday to play Manchester City, he clarified to those that needed to hear it that Erling Haaland is incomparable to him.
Salah puts Erling Haaland in his place
Since the Norwegian arrived in the Premier League over two years ago, he has delivered an extraordinary number of goal returns, beating Salah to the golden boot in each of the last two seasons.
However, this season, it is all about Salah, who leads the goal and assist charts by five contributions to each metric. There is no doubt who the best player in the league is and it isn't Erling Haaland.
Nonetheless, the two players are often compared, although there is only one problem with attempting to do such a thing - while they are both forwards, one is a winger and another is an attacker.
In an interview with Sky Sports Germany, Salah clarified the difference between the two players.
He said: "No, I respect him very much. We may have only spoken once after the last game. But he is a striker, which also makes his life easier.
"Of course, I wish him all the best. But his life is simple because he plays as a striker. It's hard to get such a quota as a winger.
"Any winger can confirm that to you. That's why I see it differently between us, because he's a striker and I'm a winger."
Well, that's the debate settled then. Haaland largely gets his goals put on a plate for him, while being able to stay predominantly in the box waiting for the ball to be passed in, whereas Salah is more often than not the player making the pass into the box, or dribbling in before having a shot himself.
In response to the quote, many Manchester City fans were left confused, incorrectly claiming that Salah is not a winger. Now as much as I can admit Salah gets forward more than most wingers traditionally used to, the most I can concede is that he is an 'inside forward' which is a much closer definition to a winger than a striker.
At no point can Salah be considered to be a poacher in front of goal and, if he were, it is plausible that he would have more goals to his name than he already has. But the reality is that Salah assists more players than he receives assists from. How can a player of that profile possibly fit the mould of a striker?
Of course, all the talk will now be about Haaland putting Salah in his place on Sunday with a goal to try and derail Liverpool's title charge.
But that all depends on the Norwegian being fit for the game and subsequently defying the odds by scoring, when he has one goal in four appearances against the Reds.
