He has led Liverpool to unprecedented heights so far and has dealt with all the contract talks around him with the utmost professionalism.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of Salah's fate will. It's clear what the Liverpool faithful want. They want a new deal for Salah and for the Egyptian King to keep his throne at Anfield for as long as possible.
Whether FSG and Richard Hughes will be able to come to an agreement with him is moot. Especially with recent rumours ramping up about a potential move to Saudi Arabia - which will leave Liverpool fans biting their finger nails.
If he does leave, Liverpool will lose not only a great player but a fantastic person as well.
Mo Salah bids 'captain' farewell
The latest example of his brilliant character is his emotional post on social media. Recently, the Liverpool star took to Twitter to post 'captain' Mimi Al-Sharbiny a heartfelt goodbye after the Egyptian commentator and former footballer passed away on 20th January.
Salah posted on Twitter: 'May God remain in the death of the great commentator, Captain Mimi Al-Sharbiny. My sincere condolences to him and his family.'
Al-Sharbiny was a legendary commentator in Egypt but he was also a former player who won the African Cup of Nations with Egypt in 1959 and spent 14 years at Al Ahly between 1957 and 1971.
In his later years, he appeared on Pepsi advertisements and became known as one of the most famous commentators in Egypt and he commentated on some of the biggest matches in the history of the sport.
Undoubtedly, this is a devastating loss to Egyptian football and Al-Sharbiny will be greatly missed. His name will be remembered as an icon for eternity both for his contributions on the pitch and off it.
