Liverpool midfielder drops MASSIVE January exit hint
When Stefan Bajcetic scored against Aston Villa in the winter of 2022 to secure an impressive 3-1 away victory, it looked like the Reds had a gem on their hands.
Starring in a few more decent performances, the Spaniard showed incredible signs of maturity in the senior squad.

But after a fairly quiet pre-season under Arne Slot, Bajcetic was sent out on loan to Red Bull Salzburg under the teaching of former Liverpool assistant coach Pep Lijnders.
This seemed like the perfect move for the midfielder. It looked to be a great opportunity to develop him physically and mentally in the men's game while also getting guaranteed first-team football.
However, this wonderful vision hasn’t gone all to plan. He has only started six Austrian Bundesliga matches this season, struggling to make a firm impact.
Moreover, Lijnders was subsequently relieved of his duties in December following a terrible run of form for Red Bull both in the league and Champions League. He was a favourite under the Dutchman and it would have been gutting for Bajcetic to see him go.
It seems the dream loan move has now transformed into a nightmare, and Stefan is looking to forget it as quickly as possible.
Bajcetic DELETES Salzburg
The 20-year-old has removed any affiliation with Salzburg on his Instagram, sparking rumours of an early return back to Liverpool and perhaps a loan move elsewhere.
He has kept all his pictures with the national team and the Reds, but his time at Salzburg has quickly been diminished. The youngster clearly isn’t happy with his current situation and looks set to return to Merseyside.
This situation is also similar to that of Calvin Ramsay’s. The right-back has been recalled from his loan spell at League One club Wigan Athletic after he has been left out of the matchday squad nine times in a row.
Now, it has been suggested Ramsay will make his way to Carlisle for the rest of the season, dropping down another division into League 2.
These youngsters have such promising futures it’s frustrating to see. For Bajcetic, it looks as if he is eager to find a new challenge for the remainder of the campaign and cement himself in Arne Slot’s mind as a starting midfielder next season.
