Man Utd flop Casemiro humiliated further by wife's Instagram post
Liverpool’s 3-0 triumph at Old Trafford was nothing short of remarkable, but one player's performance for Manchester United stood out in the worst way possible.
Casemiro’s career has been admirably illustrious. The former Real Madrid star has won a boat load of trophies including five Champions Leagues, three Spanish Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups and many more. His talent was clearly showcased when he was with the Spanish giants.
However, his time at United hasn’t been quite so successful. Fans have criticised his work rate and are growing impatient with his dwindling pace and sluggish reactions.

This was openly on display yesterday when he was at fault for Liverpool's opening two goals. The first came from a dreadful pass forward which was easily intercepted by Ryan Gravenberch before Luis Diaz headed home to make it 1-0. Only 7 minutes later, he was completely outmuscled by Diaz who pickpocketed the ball which led to him scoring his second goal on the day.
Casemiro was out-fought and out-thought by every Liverpool player on Sunday.
The hapless Brazilian was then hooked off at half-time after his shameful performance with Liverpool fans basking in his failures and United supporters wondering where it all went wrong.
During and after the game, Casemiro was slated by fans of all teams on social media. It was hard to shy away from such an embarrassing display so surely the aftermath couldn’t get any worse for him? Well, when it’s United, there is always a way.
Casemiro's wife's cringeworthy post
Later that evening, Casemiro’s wife, Anna Mariano Casemiro posted a photo on her Instagram story displaying her husband's mesmerising trophy cabinet, containing everything he has won in the game.
Anna is clearly trying to support her husband in his time of need, but it puts into perspective how terrible his display really was if she has resorted to posting pictures of his past accolades.
Underperforming in a game of that magnitude can be unforgivable and it looks like Casemiro could have delivered his last performance at the Theatre of Dreams.
