Liverpool look to generate MASSIVE €150m with just two sales
Regardless of whether key figures stay or go this summer, Liverpool are in for a monumental restructuring before the start of the 2025-26 season.
Hopefully done amid the glory of Premier League title celebrations, the Reds could be lining up with as many as seven new starters if things go as dramatically as possible.
It’s an uphill task. The club aren’t averse to spending sprees - the 2023-24 summer transfer window saw the club spend around £145 million on Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo - but last summer’s lack of investment has spooked even the most resolute of fans.
Realistically, replacing key players all across the defensive and attacking lines will require seismic investment. Arne Slot doesn’t seem to be a man to do things by half measures and if he’s losing Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk he won’t settle for anything less than perfect.
But fear not, for Liverpool have the perfect money-making strategy in house.

Two key players from this season who will reportedly on their way out of Anfield are Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.
Both have seen significant minutes this season, with Diaz operating primarily on the left-wing but playing centrally when needed - in lieu of Nunez, who has had a lacklustre campaign at best.
But, if reports are to be believed, the club could be set to net €150 million (£123.8m) by selling them both.

Recent reports have seen the club place a €60-70m price tag on Diaz, up from the straight €60m maximum when he was linked with Barcelona in the summer.
Nunez, meanwhile, was subject to a €85m (£70m) bid from Saudi-owned Al-Hilal in the January transfer window. Liverpool turned this down, preferring to keep squad depth and trying to charge Al-Hilal an extortionate €103m (£85m) for an in-season transfer.
The Saudi side are seeking to replace Neymar who was one of the biggest lost investments in world football over the past 18 months. It would be unsurprising, then, if they returned for another look at Darwin.
Together, then, could see the club generate over €170m - around £140m - if they were to get their own way.

The noise coming out of the club is that they are more than willing to depart with both of these players, aware of the need to abide by profit and sustainability rules if they are to perform a necessary squad deep clean this summer.
As stated earlier, it’s worth remembering that £145m can get you a title-winning midfield. Now, under Slot, it will aim to bring a title-winning starting XI too.

Didn't spook me and I'm more resolute than most, be a good idea if you stopped continually speaking on behalf the fanbase.
diaz wanted to go to barca before he even signed for LFC, so we should get around 75 million for him
we can not let nunez go, if he is played in the position of diaz over time he will do easily better than him.
as we will have to sort trent who will go and hopefully not,but also salah and vvd.
so only sell the players you have to is my view. there is a chance that Allisson may go as well. so we could still raise 150 million in my view allisson and diaz.
we have 2 keepers anyway.
