Liverpool have once again been linked with a future move for Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham.

German publication SportBild, as cited by SportWitness, have named Liverpool and Real Madrid as current suitors for the England international.

The German outlet claim that the Reds and Real Madrid are ‘watching his development closely’.

Dortmund also believe that if his impressive performances continue then he will ‘soon’ become the next '€100m' player.

However, BVB currently have no plans to sell the 18-year-old as they are set to promote him into a leadership role next season. They also want their summer rebuild to be focused around Bellingham.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Even though a transfer is not imminent, Bellingham playing for Liverpool one day just seems so feasible. His family are massive Liverpool fans and his footballing hero is Steven Gerrard.

It also seems like Jude is very close to Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson. Every time there is an international break, the 18-year-old is always seen with Hendo, which only gives Liverpool fans more hope that a transfer could happen.

Henderson recently spoke about the Dortmund midfielder, as cited by Anfield Watch, saying that he has 'nothing but good things to say' about Bellingham.

“I have been very impressed. I like the way he plays. I like his personality, which is the most important thing. I like the way he conducts himself. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about him,” said Henderson.

“He’s a great lad, a fantastic player and I’m sure he’ll go from strength to strength as he gets older and matures. When I watch him, he plays with such maturity even now. The sky is the limit for him really.

“He’s still very young, he’s doing so well at Dortmund [and] he’s done well whenever he’s played for England. For me, let’s just let him play football. Let him enjoy it because he is such a special talent.

“Yes, he’s got leadership qualities for sure but there’s no need to put that pressure on him right now. Let him grow into the person that he can be on his own. He’s got his feet firmly on the ground [and] has such maturity for a young player.”
