Watch USMNT prospect SHINE in Federico Chiesa Liverpool training video

Federico Chiesa’s arrival at Liverpool has been met with a positive response from fans around the world. 

The former Juventus winger signed for the Reds in a deal worth £10m and many are calling that a bargain, given his technical ability and vast experience. 

Supporters have been able to get a sneak peek of how Chiesa has performed in training, thanks to the club releasing a video that shows him finishing finely into the top corner during a practice game.

Keyrol Figueroa looks the real deal

As well as Chiesa impressing in the behind-the-scenes footage, 18-year-old Maynor Figueroa also looks incredibly exciting. 

The teenage son of former Premier League player Maynor Figueroa looks to be a shining gem. Born in Honduras, he joined Liverpool’s academy in 2018 from FC Dallas and has been a regular scorer for the United States' Under-17 and Under-20 teams.

Currently plying his trade for the Reds' Under-21s, a recent video has shown the players engaging in a lively small-sided game. 

Figueroa’s team are shown keeping possession at the back with fluid and accurate passes. Eventually, the ball is played forward into the feet of Keyrol and after taking a great touch, he turns rapidly and beats a defender for pace and strength before slotting home.

This video has really got fans excited with one viewer commenting underneath “he looks physically a step up on most of the others.” 

From his stats with the national team, Figueroa has a seriously bright future and fans will be hoping the video is just a taste of things to come in a red shirt.
