Inside Jurgen Klopp's 'extraordinary' £4.25m mansion
While it is often the players that get the limelight, earning obscene amounts of money while doing the thing they love, managers aren't too badly paid either.
Whether it be flashy cars, investing in their own companies or living in a flashy house, their salaries open up endless possibilities for their time away from the pitch.

However, when a player or a manager makes the move to another club, likely to be in another country, then logistics can often become quite complex.
When Harry Kane made the move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich, he had to live out of a hotel suite for quite a while before he was able to plant some roots down at his new home.
According to the Daily Mail, he was spending £10,000 a night for his accommodation, before eventually checking out in December 2023, when his bill reached a reported £1million.
Likewise, when Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool in October 2015, he needed a place to stay after making the move from Dortmund in Germany.
The club bought a property from ex-manager Brendan Rodgers, allowing the German to make the house his full-time permanent residence.
Once Klopp left Liverpool last season, Arne Slot was brought in and was offered the house by the club, although he turned it down.
As such, the property that is well embedded into the club's folklore is part of Rightmove's five most viewed homes of 2024, with fans fascinated to see where the former manager used to live.
Klopp's £4.25 mansion
Based on Victoria Road in Freshfield, just a 30-minute drive from the AXA Training Centre and a 40-minute drive from Anfield, the house is perfectly located within the area.
In addition, the six-bedroom mansion is just minutes away from Formby Golf Club, where Klopp could unwind and gather his thoughts, and the Formby National Trust reserve on the coast of the Irish Sea.
Focusing back on the grand property, there are 21 windows looking out onto the substantial driveway as you walk up to the front door.
The hallway is spacious, leading through to a massive open plan kitchen, diner and living room area, and as you make your way into the back of the property, you will find a large indoor pool, surrounded by astroturf on the floor.
Then making your way through to the right side of the house, you can find a barbershop/boutique room followed by a spacious home office.
On the first floor, you will find three bedrooms including the master suite, two ensuites, a bathroom, two dressing rooms and a home cinema, and on the second floor, you will then find three further bedrooms, two dressing rooms, two ensuites and a trophy room.
And while you get a hell of a lot for your money, the commute is very reminiscent of a punter's journey to a Wetherspoons toilet - it's quite a feat to make it up to the top of the house.
Once you've walked through the large garden area, you can find an outbuilding that has two floors, the ground floor accommodating an entertainment room and bar, in addition to a jacuzzi and plunge pool, before you find the gym and gallery that are based on the floor above.
The property is on the market for £4.25million, and is an 'extraordinary residence [that] showcases what high-performance living truly means', according to Rightmove.
So while Klopp might have worn his heart on his sleeve while at work as Liverpool's manager for eight seasons, his time away from the game could not have been more relaxing. And even despite the grandeur of the house, Arne Slot declined it.
