'Special' Liverpool teenage forward could be PROMOTED to Arne Slot's first team soon
Arne Slot will be running out of forward options soon given Liverpool's injury crisis.
With uncertainty over the return of Diogo Jota and Slot not being able to give an exact return date for the Portuguese international, the Reds currently only have Darwin Nunez as an out and out no.9.
Cody Gakpo could, of course, play in that role although his outings in the position have been far from fruitful with the Dutchman much better suited to playing on the wing.
That means there is a fringe spot in the first team squad for another forward to come in and a 'special' talent who is on the verge of returning to action could soon seize his chance.

Why Jayden Danns could soon return to Liverpool's first team
Danns is one of the most highly rated academy players at Liverpool right now. He showcased his immense quality last season in brief outings under Jurgen Klopp.
The former Liverpool manager went onto describe him as 'special' and Danns proved him right scoring a brace against Southampton in the FA Cup.
However, he hasn't been able to showcase his quality under Arne Slot with the youngster having struggled with an injury since the beginning of the summer.
That injury prevented him from joining Championship side Plymouth on loan, who are managed by Wayne Rooney.
But this could prove to be a silver lining for the 18-year-old.
Danns is now very close to returning to fitness, according to The Athletic's recent report.

Arne Slot's first team plans for Jayden Danns
And when Danns returns while he is expected to initially train with the U21s to get himself into match fitness, Liverpool reporter, David Lynch has revealed that the young forward will also be promoted to the club's first team squad.
“Liverpool’s plan isn’t necessarily to loan him out straight away,” Lynch said on Anfield Agenda's YouTube channel.

“The idea is to get him in and around training between now and January, let the manager have a really close look at him because he’s a very promising player, and then make the decision on whether he makes the move out and goes for a loan in the second half of the season.
“He’s very, very close now to coming back,” Lynch added.
That's an exciting prospect. Danns showcased his qualities last season and given Liverpool's lack of options in the no.9 role he should get a chance to impress Slot, especially if Jota's injury is more severe than first thought.
