SHOCK Federico Chiesa Liverpool transfer stance REVEALED
One of Liverpool’s recent acquisitions is already preparing to leave the club as early as the January transfer window.
It was a quiet summer in terms of the incomings at Anfield, as after all the talk of wanting to sign further quality in midfield and depth in defence, neither of these areas were suitably addressed.
Nor was the other key area of attention, the expiring contract situation around Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, which is still unresolved at the moment.
Liverpool were able to agree to bring in Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia on the basis that he remained in Spain on loan this season, as well as one notable other who may well be headed for the exit door after less than six months at Anfield.

Federico Chiesa wanted by two new clubs
According to a new report from CaughtOffside, Reds summer signing Federico Chiesa is already eyeing up a return to Italy, with AC Milan and Napoli both ready to welcome the 27-year-old as early as the winter window.
The report cites sources as saying that Chiesa is frustrated by the lack of playing time he has received so far, and goes on to theorise that the Italian has likely had problems settling in on Merseyside and is willing to make a return to Serie A on loan as soon as possible.

It’s hard to see any of this report coming to pass, as Chiesa would surely have been aware when he signed that he would not be assured of a starting spot, not to mention the issues he has already had with minor injuries in the first few months of the season which have been the reason for his limited appearances.
Given how overjoyed he appeared to be upon signing for Liverpool, it would be a hugely surprising turn of events to see him more or less admit defeat and return to his home country before he’s even had a real chance at breaking into the Reds side.
