Injury fears INTENSIFY as TWO stars spotted on crutches at Anfield
Liverpool took on Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday without several first-team stars.
While Pep Guardiola has been vocal about the scale of Manchester City's injury problems, it was opposite number Arne Slot who had to contend with the loss of key first-team figures for the Premier League clash.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold only just back fit following around three weeks out, he was replacing Conor Bradley, who is now set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
Bradley was hurt during the midweek win against Real Madrid, a game in which he excelled against superstar forward Kylian Mbappe.
Liverpool's injury troubles
But Bradley was not the only absentee for the league leaders with the likes of Alisson Becker and Federico Chiesa not yet fit enough to make the bench following their own injury concerns.
While Harvey Elliott has made it back to the matchday squad following his foot injury, the Reds are still contending without first-choice striker Diogo Jota.
And recently their injury list GREW further with the addition of two more players.
Tsimikas injured in training
It was reported last week that Kostas Tsimikas would be absent from the matchday squad having picked up an ankle injury in training.
Initially, little was known about the extent of the damage, with the Greek defender proving to be a dependable member of Slot's squad this season.
Fans then will have been concerned to see Tsimikas at Anfield on Sunday using crutches as well as a protective boot.
The scale of the knock could be a lot worse than first feared with the left-back now set for a spell on the sidelines.
Endrick injures Konate
Furthermore, the sight of Ibrahima Konate using crutches will have struck Reds fans with fear.
The centre-back has been among the best in the world in his position this season alongside Virgil van Dijk.
And while his injury troubles in previous seasons have been well documented, he has managed to string together the longest sequence of starts in his Liverpool career this term.
That was until Sunday when he too was ruled out through injury.
After Bradley, Konate was the SECOND Liverpool player injured against Real. He left Anfield on Wednesday in considerable pain at the final whistle following some rough treatment from Endrick.
It was then reported that Konate may well not play again until 2025, handing Slot a major setback as he plots a twin Premier League and Champions League challenge.
Liverpool fans will be hoping for the best for the newly-injured duo - as well as Bradley and the rest of the currently absent Reds stars.
