Liverpool home kit 2024/25 design – leaked
Liverpool’s potential home shirt for the 2024/25 season has been leaked, with the design set to feature a striking 'YNWA' pattern.
The Reds deal with kit manufactures Nike runs until at least 2025 and details of next season's offerings are already filtering out.
It has already been leaked that next year's away kit will be ‘forest green’ with ‘washed teal’ details, while the third kit will be primarily white.
Now Footy Headlines and @FumlerRawk bring new insights into the details of the much-anticipated home design, which will (of course) be red, while featuring a yellow striped pattern.
According to the ever-reliable Footy Headlines the official colours will be 'gym red', 'white', and 'chrome yellow' – similar to those used under New Balance during the title-winning 2019/20 campaign.
The pinstripe-effect pattern, which also evokes memories of the title-winning 2019/20 kit, is actually an all-over 'YNWA' (You'll Never Walk Alone) embossed design.
The Nike swoosh and LFC badge will also be yellow, while the sponsor logo will remain white.
In possible references to other old kits, the red, white and yellow collar appears to be a throwback to the one which featured on the popular 2013/14 home kit – sported by the likes of Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, Brendan Rodgers' side came so close to the title. Meanwhile, there are suggestions that the kit could feature white patches under the arms similar to those of the Reebok kit which the Reds wore for the 2005 Champions League triumph.
That detail is included by @lfcdzn11 who created a mockup of the potential design, showing how it would look on Mohamed Salah.
Time will tell exactly how accurate the latest leaks are, with next season's kits not likely to be officially announced until May of next year.
The offerings will mark Nike's fifth season of Liverpool kits, following the signing of a ground-breaking deal in 2020 which saw the American brand take over from New Balance.
