Liverpool have been linked with a move for a 20-goal Atletico Madrid forward
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.
The Portugal international has only played 642 minutes of football for the La Liga side this season due to injuries and team selection.
Felix has been told by Atletico Madrid that he can leave the club if a suitable offer arrives, according to AS, as cited by the Daily Mail.
With that being the case, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal have apparently been placed on red alert.
The report further adds that Felix is open to departing the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. The 22-year-old's contract expires in June 2026.
Transfermarkt value Felix at €70 million.ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Felix is a sensational talent. The forward has scored 20 goals and registered 11 assists in 89 appearances.
Felix also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.28 in the Champions League last season. The aforementioned figures highlight that the Portugal international is a good footballer.
Also, it would be fair to assume that Felix still has room left for improvement because of his age. Therefore, we would love to see Liverpool make a move for him.
