Liverpool handed HUGE Harvey Elliott injury UPDATE ahead of Brighton
Liverpool have been given a major new update on the fitness of Harvey Elliott.
The 21-year-old has played just seven minutes of football this season, coming on as a late substitute against Brentford before suffering an injury while on international duty with England's U21 side back in September.
It was expected Elliott would be back fit by October, however, the youngster still hasn't featured for the club and there has been no sign of him in first team training either.
However, the Reds have been given a promising injury update about his fitness ahead of the club's clash against Brighton on Saturday.

Liverpool handed Elliott injury update
Liverpool participated in a training session on Friday afternoon as their final preparations for the game against Brighton.
The session was seemingly open to some members of the media, including Sky Sports' Vinny O'Connor, who made an interesting observation.
The journalist claims he spotted Elliott back on the grass during the first team's training session which is a promising new update.
Although O'Connor claims the midfielder did not participate in full training, the fact that Elliott was present at all is definitely a good sign considering we haven't really spotted him involved since suffering that injury back in September.

This is undoubtedly an exciting update for Liverpool.
Elliott was one of the stars of pre-season this summer and looked like he would absolutely thrive under Arne Slot.
Since then, things have undoubtedly been frustrating for him. However, if he can get himself fit and ready for a very busy November and December period, there will be plenty of opportunities for Elliott to get himself back into the team.
Especially with Dominik Szoboszlai having struggled in front of goals, and Slot insisting he would like to see the Hungarian make more goal contributions in his new no.10 role.
