Alisson AGREES new deal
Liverpool find themselves in a potentially tricky situation concerning their goalkeepers.
Alisson Becker remains Liverpool's No1, Coaimhin Kelleher is Liverpool's No2 and Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to meet up with the Reds next year when his loan move to Valencia ends at the end of the season.

Regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Alisson is a player that Liverpool will want to keep hold of for a long time considering the Brazilian's incredible track record in getting the club out of trouble when the defence makes a mistake.
And although he finds himself sidelined at the moment, he started the season well - delivering seven clean sheets for club and country across the ten games he played in.
But after coming off injured against Crystal Palace in October, it has been Kelleher who has taken on the reins of responsibility between the posts, and in all honesty, he's done a really good job as the understudy.
However, at the end of the season, Kelleher is going to want more guaranteed minutes, so he may depart the club, and Mamardashvili will be expecting to start games as a new signing, so Alisson may have to fight for his place next season.
Alisson's new deal
While he is still contracted until 2026, the 32-year-old is likely to be front and centre of yet another FSG contract crisis, should the club fail to act quickly in suring up his future.
Goalkeepers traditionally have longer shelf lives than outfield players, given the disparity in miles put in their legs on the pitch, but Alisson's injury record is not pretty, so it is no surprise that Liverpool have decided to make a move for Mamardashvili, although in doing so their have pretty blatantly alienated Kelleher.
Should Alisson want to remain at the club beyond 2026, his representatives will be charged with speaking directly to the club about contract talks.
It was announced last week that Alisson is to remain with his current representation - Neis World Sports.
In an Instagram post, the company said: "Renewed. Goalkeeper Alisson Becker has renewed his representation bond with NWS.
"NWS has been working with the Becker family for over 20 years. Thank you so much for trusting us!"
Although this new deal is not a further deal with Liverpool, it could be an important step in securing Alisson's long-term future.
It is unlikely that any serious talks with Alisson will happen until the end of the season when the club can make a judgement on how useful he can be at the top level for years to come.
And given the context of Alisson's current injury, as well as the string of issues he's had over the years, the club is wise to hold off, but not for too long.
Uncertainty around Alisson's future
Speaking in August, Liverpool's No1 made clear that he is more than committed to honouring his contract amidst interest from Saudi Arabia.
He said: "I want to honour my contract and finish my contract here, or make a new one. I am really happy here. My family is happy.
"I've never got to the point where I was talking about wages and things like this. It was just interest, but when you hear about the numbers the other players are getting you are a little bit attracted. That is normal."
And when Mamardashvili was announced, he was not left concerned as the club had told him ahead of time.
On the Georgian's move, he added: "They [the club] are doing the right thing but, on my side, as long as I have my contract here, and as long as I am happy here, the club is happy with me, my family is happy here. I will stay."
However, since the season started, Alisson also spoke to One Football about a possible return to Internacional.
He said: "I watch all of Inter's games. There is always that feeling of good memories and the desire to wear the Inter shirt again... I hope to fulfil my contract here in England, and then, after that, I am open."
Whatever the club decide to do, there will be controversy and opinion from fans, but these next few months could be paramount for Alisson's Liverpool future when he returns from injury.
