Liverpool fixtures: the Reds' next five games after draw at Manchester City
Liverpool will be relieved to have come away from the Etihad relatively unscathed after salvaging a point against Manchester City in Saturday's early kick-off.
The Reds had to come from behind, after a catalogue of individual errors allowed Nathan Ake to play Erling Haaland in behind to open in the scoring in the first half.
It was Trent Alexander-Arnold who saved the day for Liverpool, firing his effort into the far corner to give Liverpool parity 10 minutes from time.
Despite a far from perfect performance, Liverpool were able to hold onto the draw for the remainder of the game - a great result considering the circumstances.
However, it wasn't all smiles at full-time, with both Alisson and Diogo Jota picking up niggles during the contest.
We are yet to discover the severity of their injuries - but either way, it's come at the worst time for Liverpool, who now stare down the barrel of a hectic festive period.
Here are the teams that lie in wait for Liverpool in their next five fixtures.

Liverpool vs LASK - Europa League
Liverpool return to Europa League action this week as they look to get back to winning ways in the competition against LASK.
Coming off a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Toulouse in their last European outing, a win will feel like a must for the Reds as they look to solidify their place at the top of the group - something made all the more important by the relatively new structure of the Europa League, which sees group winners bypass the first knockout stage and go straight into the round of 16.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for a smoother ride against the Austrian outfit than they endured in the reverse fixture, having had to come from behind to pick up the win in Linz.

Liverpool vs Fulham - Premier League
Three days later, the Reds are back in Premier League action to take on Fulham at Anfield.
After a prosperous campaign last term, Fulham have endured a difficult start to the season and currently sit 15th.
It would be a shock result to see the Cottagers take anything from this one.

Sheffield United vs Liverpool - Premier League
Liverpool then make the midweek trip to Bramall Lane to take on newly-promoted stragglers Sheffield United.
Early signs indicate that the Blades are destined for relegation, having only won once and being made victim to an 8-0 home thrashing at the hands of Newcastle.
However, United will take motivation from the fact fellow promoted outfit Luton pushed Liverpool to their absolute limits, despite the vast majority of fans writing the Hatters off before a ball was kicked.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool - Premier League
The second of three consecutive away games Liverpool are tasked with in December, Liverpool will make the trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.
We were treated to a pair of stalemates between the two sides last season - one of which included a rogue headbutt from whacky Darwin Nunez. What is he like!
Here's hoping for less needless red cards and more goals in this one.
It's also ANOTHER early Saturday kick-off for Liverpool to endure. No prizes for guessing how that pre-match presser will go.

Royal Union Saint-Gilloise vs Liverpool - Europa League
Rounding off Liverpool's next five is a game that will hopefully be a dead rubber.
Making the trip to Brussels to take on Union SG in their final Europa League group game, it would be ideal if Liverpool already knew their fate as it would allow them to field a completely rotated team.
And given how busy the festive period is for the Reds, any opportunity to play a game with nothing on the line will go hugely appreciated.
That said, if Union SG beat Toulouse in the previous matchweek, they will have qualification to play for - so if Liverpool don't get the job done against LASK, they could be in for a big test in Belgium.
