FSG have done a great work making sure Liverpool are never put in the same situation that they were under Hicks and Gillet when the club's entire existence was at threat.
These days, the Reds are one of the best club's when it comes to complying for financial regulations like the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and UEFA's Financial Fair Play.
And at the same time, the club is able to compete at the highest levels both domestically and in Europe. And now one of the club's iconic figures in the boardroom has established himself as a top earner, too.

LeBron James among highest paid athletes in the world
Everywhere else, LeBron James is known as one of the most notorious faces of the NBA and the basketball world, but at Liverpool he is known as one of the club's minority stakeholders and part owners.
LeBron has been working with FSG for over a decade and bought stakes in the club back in 2011.
His influence at Liverpool stretches to him often doing collaborations with Nike and his own clothing brand combined to release special edition Reds apparel and merchandise.
But LeBron's focus is still basketball, where he continues to set new standards even at 40 years old, with his son Bronny, now also representing the Lakers.
And he doesn't just perform on the court. LeBron continues to rack in the money away from the court with massive earnings in 2024.
Recently Sportico has released the top 10 highest paid athletes worldwide for 2024 and LeBron was among the top five.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Tyson Fury and Steph Curry earned more in the calendar year than LeBron.
The Liverpool stakeholder brought in a staggering combined total of $133.2m, roughly £105m. This includes both his wages and the deals he has made with endorsements, etc.
The fact that he is still on such a massive deal goes to show just how influential LeBron remains.
