Federico Chiesa’s wife’s EMOTIONAL Instagram post sheds light on Liverpool REALITY

It is fair to say that Federico Chiesa hasn’t had a perfect start to life at Liverpool.

The club’s newest signing has only played 79 of a possible 900 minutes worth of action since arriving at Anfield. He missed the first two games after joining through a lack of match fitness, and now hasn’t seen the pitch in exactly a month largely due to an undisclosed injury.

So whilst dreams of moving to the Premier League and immediately kicking up a storm didn’t come to fruition, it has more been a case of poor luck. It is only October and there is every chance that, even by December, we could be talking about Chiesa as a necessary addition.

And he did get an assist on his one and only start so far this season in the 5-1 League Cup victory over West Ham.

Because of this, the rumours that emerged yesterday that Liverpool are considering loaning Chiesa back to Italy in January seem premature.

The Italian attacker has only been available for four games and has played substantial minutes in two of them. This displays a clear indication by head coach Arne Slot to integrate Chiesa into his team.

Getting rid of him this early would be an embarrassment for new sporting director Richard Hughes. Chiesa is his first real signing.

No matter what happens, you don’t get rid of that person the first chance you get.

Are Chiesa and his wife homesick?

Additionally, @LFCUnlocked added to rumours that the Italian was homesick and that his family are struggling to settle into life in Liverpool.

Yet you only have to take one look at Lucia Bramani's Instagram page to know that is a reach.

Her most recent post is a compilation of 10 images captioned ‘Some random moments from the past few days’. One of these is a video of her enjoying Anfield’s rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone ahead of Chiesa’s one and only start against West Ham.

That doesn’t seem like a family that is struggling to settle in. Instead, it looks like a family that is immersing themselves in their new life and committing to enjoying it.

Injuries are frustrating and it would obviously be much easier for Chiesa if he was getting significant game time already.

But wherever these rumours are coming from, the evidence just doesn’t stack up.
