Liverpool transfer values REVEALED: How much are Salah, van Dijk and TAA really worth now?
Liverpool headed out of the summer transfer window with a few questions answered, but some of the biggest ones still giving fans sleepless nights.
The departure of manager Jurgen Klopp to be replaced by Arne Slot, and the return of Michael Edwards to head up a new backroom structure, meant a massive era of transition for the Reds.
Edwards and his team, headed up by Richard Hughes, now have crucial decisions to make about key members of the current first-team squad.
Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are now in the final years of their existing contracts, leaving them and the Reds to decide what happens next. Remember, there are just a few short months until all three can start speaking to interested clubs about a free transfer in the summer of 2025.
So how much would that trio actually be worth on the open market right now? We have current values (or eTV - estimated Transfer Value) for every member of the first-team squad. And this is not guesswork - more on how these values are calculated to come...

What is eTV? How are the values calculated?
All the values come from a cutting-edge algorithm developed by Dutch data geniuses SciSports and FootballTransfers, called eTV (estimated Transfer Value).
It factors in all the most important data points at play - this is not a few kids sat in a room arguing how much Mo Salah is worth right now. The values include the following factors:
- Player age
- Player position
- Player performance
- Current player level
- Projected potential level
- Recent playing time
- Player experience
- Number of matches played
- Number of minutes played
- Experience in domestic leagues
- Experience in (inter)national tournaments
- League strength
- Contract situation
This means as the summer goes on, expect more changes. Salah, van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold will all decrease in value as every day passes without new deals being done. And age becomes more of a factor for VVD and Mo.
With Premier clubs putting ever more focus on data - this is the 'Moneyball' era in British football - all of these things will play into the price for any summer deals.
