Liverpool will finally REPLACE star after five years
Liverpool are set to replace star after five years at the club. This is the beginning of the end.
Everyone should get ready for changes this summer. Liverpool may not have done much business at all in 2024 (or January, for that matter) but you can expect the opposite once this season is done.

The Reds may lose three stars without a say, in fact. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk are all out of contract after June 30th and are free to leave if they wish.
Now, Liverpool will put some sort of contract on the table for each of them. Whether they're signed or not is another matter.
Then you've got the likes of Ibrahima Konate. His contract runs out in 2026 and Liverpool must make a decision on him this summer.

Again, they'll be forced into this one. There's no question that Liverpool want to agree a new contract with the Frenchman but with Paris Saint-Germain sniffing around, there's no guarantee he signs one.
Though, Liverpool will also look to move on players who they could easily keep. That's the level of overhaul we're talking about this summer.
And it means one star is set to be replaced after five years at Anfield.
Kostas Tsimikas on the chopping block
The Athletic reports that Liverpool are in the market for a new left-back this summer. The player arriving would be in competition with Andy Robertson for the role.
In other words, Kostas Tsimikas's current role.
It seems Liverpool are prepared to move on from the Greek full-back and are looking for a long-term successor to Robertson. Tsimkas, who arrived in 2020, has never been able to usurp his teammate there.

But Robertson turns 31 next month and only has another year left on his contract. The Reds are running out of time for him to drop out of the XI, in other words.
They'll want to sign someone who can compete this upcoming season and, hopefully, replace Robertson in 2026/27. That's the dream.

Tsimikas isn't that player. He's been a solid backup to the Scot but that's not going to be enough going forward.
This summer, Liverpool move on.
