Liverpool youngster that Jurgen Klopp LOVED set for permanent Anfield exit
Despite having been marked as a potential wonderkid for Liverpool, 21-year-old centre-back Billy Koumetio is closing in on a permanent Anfield exit this summer.
The defender joined the Reds' academy setup in 2018 from Orleans in his native France and quickly stood out with his displays at youth level.
The 6'5 starlet then secured loan spells with Austria Wien, Dunkerque and Blackburn Rovers but failed to impress in any of his stints away from Merseyside.
Now, six years after his arrival, Koumetio appears to be leaving Liverpool for good after failing to live up to the lofty expectations set for him during his early career.

BILLY KOUMETIO SET FOR DUNDEE MOVE
According to French journalist Marc Mechenoua, Koumetio is closing in on a move to Scottish outfit Dundee FC and will undergo his medical with the club on Friday 9 August.
The youngster will sign a two-year deal with an option for a further year, with Dundee having reportedly tracked Koumetio since early July.
How much Liverpool will earn from the sale remains to be seen but it's unlikely to be too much given Koumetio's recent struggles and the fact that his contract expires in 2025.
Koumetio, who was once described as a 'big talent' by former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, will be looking forward to a fresh start after a frustrating few seasons.
He spent the second half of last season on loan in the Championship with Blackburn but managed just one appearance for the club. That sums up his career over the past two or three years.
Koumetio is not the only academy player leaving Liverpool this summer. The Reds have already released promising youngsters Mateusz Musialowski and Melkamu Frauendorf, while Adam Lewis has joined Morecambe on a free transfer.
However, it's expected that Liverpool will soon finalise deals for promising wonderkids Rio Ngumoha and Alvin Ayman from Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively.
