Liverpool FC Player Power Rankings: Salah and Kelleher SHINE
We are ranking all members of the Liverpool first-team squad throughout the 2024-25 season with updates at the end of each matchday.
Liverpool were victorious - again - at the weekend, with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa in the Premier League cementing the Reds' place at the top of the table.
Here are our latest Liverpool FC Player Power Rankings after the win at Anfield, with the previous rank for each player in brackets.
25. Harvey Elliott (24)
Edging closer to a return after an injury-ravaged start to the season. This NEEDS to be a big season for the emerging playmaker.

24. Federico Chiesa (23)
This is getting towards crisis point for the Italian, who looks like he will be back in Serie A before long.
23. Trey Nyoni (24)
Got on the pitch against Brighton in the Carabao Cup recently and is consistently training with the first team. A big future ahead.
22. Jarell Quansah (21)
His minutes have been limited so far, as Konate and Van Dijk are imperious. He's made mistakes when on the pitch, which need to be cut out.
21. Vitezslav Jaros (22)
The Czech Republic international was afforded his FIRST start in the Carabao Cup against Brighton and performed admirably. It's good to know the Reds have got a reliable deputy in Caoimhin Kelleher to call upon, as well as a solid third-choice.
20. Tyler Morton (20)
A player of immense potential who just needs to grasp his opportunities in the starting XI - if they come.
19. Wataru Endo (18)
Unlucky not to be higher. His stock remains low under Slot, but Endo has become an important 'closer' for Liverpool, coming on to help keep a clean sheet against Villa.
18. Alisson Becker (11)
He obviously shouldn't be this far down the list, but he has been missing too many games and that spells danger for goalkeepers. He could be out for another TWO MONTHS following his injury against Crystal Palace.
17. Diogo Jota (14)
Can't seem to stay fit and is currently on the sidelines following a knock against Chelsea.
16. Joe Gomez (19)
Has been getting more minutes in recent weeks as Arne Slot manages Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury at right back. Will be fighting with Bradley for a starting sport if Trent is out for long.
15. Conor Bradley (17)
Had been suffering an injury since the international break until his recent Carabao Cup outing against Brighton. Will be hoping to grab the opportunity that Trent's injury against Villa affords him.
14. Dominik Szoboszlai (15)
His reputation has taken a bit of a hit this year, with the emergence of Curtis Jones meaning his place in the side is not guaranteed, especially when he is struggling to add the goal contributions that Slot wants from his attacking midfielder.
13. Andy Robertson (16)
Played really well at the weekend following a poor couple of weeks. Has found it difficult to get rhythm this season while rotating with Tsimikas.
12. Kostas Tsimikas (11)
We put Tsimikas and Robertson side-by-side here as there is so little between them. Slot seems happy to use them both in any game this season, rather than relying on one for big games and one for cup games. Tsimikas takes the edge so far this season.
11. Alexis Mac Allister (9)
Has gone under the radar in recent weeks but is a key component in Slot's midfield. Found pockets of space against Villa that caused Emery's side problems, but needs to add more penetration to take his form to the next level.
10. Darwin Nunez (12)
A brilliant finish against Aston Villa added the goal his recent performances have deserved. Growing into the season nicely but still needs to add consistency.
9. Cody Gakpo (7)
The fact Gakpo and Diaz both prefer to play on the left is a shame considering they are both in great form this season. Diaz has been preferred by Slot for the most part so far but they have also proven they can play together - exciting times.
8. Curtis Jones (12)
Jones has been in imperious form ever since becoming a father. His versatility means he can play in any of Slot's midfield roles, and he seems to be adding consistency to his game, earning an England call up recently. A bit quieter against Villa but effective nonetheless.
7. Trent Alexander-Arnold (4)
A hamstring issue forced him off the pitch during the win over Aston Villa. His defensive game has gone up a notch this season in a more structured system.
6. Caoimhin Kelleher (10)
Two incredible saves against Aston Villa kept the Reds in the lead at crucial times. Without a doubt the best number 2 in the world, and he could be staking a claim here for the number 1 shirt if Alisson's injuries persist. More than good enough to fight the incoming Giorgi Mamardashvilli for that title.
5. Ibrahima Konaté (5)
Playing perhaps the most consistent football of his Liverpool career. The Reds have been waiting a long time for him to become an immovable first-choice centre back, and he could now be about to replace Kylian Mbappe as France's captain. Leader.
4. Luis Diaz (5)
After his hat-trick against Leverkusen in the Champions League, Diaz was back out on the left hand side against Aston Villa where he caused numerous problems for their defence. 11 goal contributions in 16 games this season are the numbers of a player on fire.
3. Ryan Gravenberch (3)
How long before we can start calling Gravenberch the best midfielder in the world? It may be a bit soon but as Rodri's Ballon D'Or win shows, deep-lying midfielders are growing in stature and Gravenberch's run of form is up there with the best.
2. Virgil van Dijk (1)
Another who seems to be getting stronger and stronger as the season goes by. His importance to the way Slot's side builds up cannot be understated.
1. Mohamed Salah (2)
Ten goals and ten assists in 17 games this season. Need we say more? The Egyptian King is playing out of this world at the moment. Sign him up!
