Liverpool wonderkid AJ Yeguo-Tomaszowicz earns promotion

At 15 years old, Aj Yeguo-Tomaszowicz is already following in the footsteps of the club's most renowned academy product of the last decade in Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Last month we revealed that Yeguo signed a landmark deal with Alexander-Arnold's agency PLG, in what is the teenager's first agreement of his young career.

Now he's followed this up with a promotion to the club's U18 team. Yeguo has been included in the squad for the young Reds' last two fixtures in the U18 Premier League and made his debut against Newcaslte last weekend.

He only played around seven minutes on the pitch and completed two out of his two attempted passes but the fact that he was already involved at this level despite not turning 16 years old until the end of this summer (August 21st) speaks volumes of Yeguo's talent.

An exciting midfielder, he represents Poland's youth national team and has made two appearances for his nation's national team at U15 level.

At 15 years, six months and two days old, Yeguo becomes the seventh youngest player in this century to debut at U18 level for Liverpool.

He's debuted at a younger age than Jayden Danns (15 years, 7 months), Curtis Jones (15 years, 10 months) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (15 years, 9 months) just to name a few of the club's most notable academy graduates in recent years.

For that reason alone, he's definitely a player to keep a close eye on.
