Meanwhile, there is a Carabao Cup final to look forward to in March, with the Reds having confirmed their place at Wembley on Thursday night against Tottenham.
But there could be even more glory on the way, the FA Cup is still a possibility with a favourable draw for the Reds in Plymouth Argyle.
And there is the allure of the Champions League, where Liverpool finished top of the league phase and now go into the round of 16 with an exciting player added to Arne Slot's squad.
Why Liverpool have added Rio Ngumoha to first team squad
Ahead of the knock-out round, Liverpool have made one change to their Champions League squad from the group phase.
The Reds have removed Tom Hill, who has departed the club for pastures new and have replaced him with Rio Ngumoha.
This was confirmed by the club to UEFA on Friday afternoon.
Unlike other academy players who have been registered to Liverpool's B squad, Ngumoha is not eligible as he has not spent two years at the club, which is the requirement for a player of his age.
That means the Reds have gone to extraordinary lengths by instead naming him in the first team, or as UEFA calls it, the 'A list.'
This is a significant development for Ngumoha. It does not guarantee that he will play in the Champions League but it gives the Reds an option to use him if they wish to.
Liverpool will not have included him in the squad if they were not open to the idea. Clearly, the club rate him highly. Slot was comfortable enough to give him a debut and make him the youngest Liverpool player to start a first team game of all time.
As Anfield Watch revealed exclusively, Ngumoha has been so impressive training with the first team the club have had to edit out footage of him embarrassing some of the senior players.
If he does make an appearance in the knock-out rounds, he will almost be certain to become the youngest player ever to debut in the Champions League for the Reds.
This is a record currently held by Trey Nyoni, who made his debut against PSV Eindhoven earlier this season.
But Ngumoha won't just make Liverpool history. If he makes an appearance in the Champions League this season he will become the youngest English player ever to debut in the competition beating Jack Wilshere's record, who was 16 years old and 10 months, when he made his debut.
