Trent Alexander-Arnold boosts Liverpool contract talks with new RECORD
Trent Alexander-Arnold has reminded Liverpool just how good he really is. This comes as contract talks continue with the Reds.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract will expire at the end of the campaign. In fact, he can agree a pre-contract with a non-English club in under four weeks time.

Now, he's not alone in that. Both Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah can do the same. Alexander-Arnold, though, is arguably the most interesting of the bunch.
He's the one entering his prime, rather than his mid-30s. He's the boyhood Liverpool fan who came through the academy. And he's the one where a long-term contract on big money makes complete sense.
And yet, it's not done. Alexander-Arnold is almost certainly asking for a lot from Liverpool. Real Madrid are waiting in the background, too, tempting the vice-captain away.
Alexander-Arnold's record
Alexander-Arnold boosted his leverage on Wednesday, too. He came off the bench for Liverpool and changed the game, assisting both of Salah's goals to turn things around.
It was a reminder of what he's capable of. Few players in the Premier League can influence a game like Alexander-Arnold, let alone right-backs.
And in doing it, the 26-year-old met a milestone.
He's the first defender in Premier League history to reach 60 assists. Trying to replace that level of output with any other right-back will be nigh on impossible.
And yet, Liverpool may have to try anyway. It's no longer up to them whether Alexander-Arnold remains at the club beyond this season.
If he fancies playing for Real Madrid, he will do - and he'll walk for free in June.
Liverpool will have plenty of records, trophies and memories to remember him by but there's no question that this is shaping up to be a massive blow.
Alexander-Arnold is one of a kind. This record proves that further.
